'The Basement Renovation Total Integrated Project Event under Susan’s leadership was both hugely successful as an event in and of itself, and also informed how we approached successful multi-category events going forward. The cross functional nature of the event Susan built across marketing, merchandising and operations ensured that the right stakeholders made appropriate choices at every stage of the event planning and implementation. This event was created to maximize cross category product sales by connecting unique products together by logically presenting them within the framework of a full project. Know-how content was also added to provide solutions and reassurance to customers looking to take on all or part of the project themselves, and do-it-for-me services were also featured to provide customers with an option for The Home Depot to do the work for them as another way to remove any barriers. Susan’s leadership and cross functional collaboration throughout the event creating was a critical factor in its success.'
